One of the easiest ways to support our Foundation is to make a regular pre-tax donation from your monthly salary. All McCarthy Stone employees can give to charity via Payroll Giving, and the Foundation is registered with Charities Aid Foundation as a recipient. If you decide to give £10 a month, it will only cost you £8 if you pay basic rate tax, or £6 if you are on a 40% tax rate.

You can give as much as you like and can change or cancel your donation at any time. If you leave the organisation your donation is automatically stopped.

To register for payroll giving all you need to do is contact the Payroll team and let them know how much you’d like to donate, they’ll take care of the rest (though there may be the odd form to fill in!).

Of course, you don’t have to be a McCarthy Stone employee to donate to the Foundation via Payroll Giving. If you are part of one of our partner organisations or simply prefer to give via Payroll, you will just need to check with your payroll or finance team to see if your organisation is currently registered with an approved payroll provider.
