New beginnings for the McCarthy Stone Foundation
After four fantastic years and the Foundation’s most successful year to date, FY25 will see a new look for our charity as we say goodbye to Graeme Marsh, who has led the Foundation since it launched in 2020.
We would like to wish Graeme every success as he moves to an exciting new role leading the Mazars Charitable Trust. Graeme leaves behind the legacy of the Foundation’s growth and work that has seen the charity award over £1,000,000 in charitable funds to hundreds of grassroots charities working with older people and leaves the Foundation in a fantastic position to continue its work to support our wider company purpose.
Graeme has been closely supported by his colleague Julia Laister, who joined us in 2022 as Foundation Co-Ordinator. We are pleased to congratulate Julia, who will take over as Foundation Lead for FY25 on November 1st. She has the understanding, experience and relationships to keep building on the great work the Foundation has done to date. Jules has the full support of the Foundation Board of Trustees and the McCarthy Stone Group, and we are excited to see the positive impact this will continue to have on the lives of older people.
Graeme and Jules will continue to work closely together through till the end of this financial year, with several exciting events still to come, and our largest ever grant disbursement to all take place before year end.
On behalf of the Trustees and everyone at McCarthy Stone, we would like to thank Graeme again on his outstanding efforts over the last four years, wish him the very best in his new role, and welcome Jules as our new Foundation Lead.
