Grant Funding Webinar – February 15th – Sign up
We are excited to be opening our 2024 grant programmes in February. Over our first three years there has been a lot of learning and our profile has certainly grown. This has meant that, at times, we have been overwhelmed with applications. While everyone likes to be popular, we quickly recognised that this was neither sustainable, nor desirable, and was costing charities time and money. Many of the applications we received were aligned with our goals, which also made shortlisting a long and intensive process, in order to process them quickly and effectively.
Unfortunately, this does mean our criteria and programme focus will be changing as we look ahead to 2024. These are not changes we make lightly, but to ensure that our funds make the best possible impact, and that there is absolute clarity for anyone interested in applying to our programmes. It is our hope that this will save charities time and money and will increase the effectiveness of our funding.
Although our vision and mission remain unchanged, we will be focusing on 1-1 support in our Spring grants and then group-based support in our Autumn round, with both programmes focused on tackling loneliness, isolation, social exclusion and social participation. We will also be lowering the income level of organisations that we will support, from £500k p.a. to £250k p.a.
To find out more about our funding, we always have an online webinar, which you can sign up for at the link below. This will be given by Graeme, our Head of Foundation, and will cover our criteria, alongside tips for applying, insight on scoring, and more. We hope to see you there!
