We are really pleased to once again be opening our Christmas Connections Grant Programme.

This programme is all about helping older people who may be isolated or lonely over the festive period, by supporting local groups that are organising events/activities.

Typical examples of things we support with these grants include:

• Trip out to a Christmas market
• A subsidised/free Christmas meal together
• Delivery of Christmas meals/care packages
• Small gifts as part of a befriending initiative
• Costs of befriending visits/volunteer expenses

Funding is ONLY available for organisations with an income LESS THAN £250,000 p.a. and as always, we will focus on volunteer-led initiatives.

Activities must take place between 1st December and 2nd January.

Registered charities, community groups with constitutions, and Community Interest Companies (CIC) limited by guarantee may apply. Priority will be given to groups where activities are free/low cost at point of use, to ensure inclusivity and equity.

Grants are up to a maximum of £1,000 and we will be awarding c.£30,000 of total funds.
